Cosmosomas: Dead Electric

Cosmosomas personality is very different from your typical mainstream band. They’re not involved in music for the fame or fortune; they choose having control over their music rather than money. They’re on a small label that allows them to be who they want and play what they want. Their style of music is techno, house and electro, mostly popular in the UK.

Bands with the same style are:

Daft Punk
This band doesn't believe in the star system, they focus on making great music for their fans. They choose to not show their faces while in interviews or preforming, so they can have a normal life. They play house music and during preformances visual affects are used often.

Justice

A french electronic music duo, thought to have some heavy metal influence. Their music often includes bass slapping, which results in an electro house style. Additionally, Justice uses samples of other songs to add to the effect of electronic music.

Depeche mode

Depeche Mode is an electronis music band formed in 1981. Depeche Mode is one of the longest-lived, most successful and influential bands to have emerged from the new wave era.

random CD cover assignment

For my first cd cover the band name was lady of the forest end, which is completly random and is actually a childrens book. The image was dark, so immediatly this band became some sort of screamo/metal/emo band. The font has a creepy horror look to it, which is important to the music genre. I chose for the band name to be the larger white font so it would stand out more. The cd name is wings with high thoughts, and the red font represents things such as blood and horror, which is what the music of the band represents.
The second cd cover was complatly opposite of the first one; the mood is calm and peacful. For this cover everything fell together nicely, the cover worked with the album title and the band name.
